Where did the Shaffer's go?

I am sure you are all wondering where the heck we have been, and why we have we not updated our blog. Well, I wish I had some great answer like we took an amazing trip to Bora Bora, or we spent a month traveling the world, (Of course none of you would believe that anyway) but unfortunetly it all comes down to me being extremely lazy!

Well Peeps, this is what we have been doing:

We went down to San Antonio on Oct 19th with the Patricks for a last little vacation to say good bye to Ryan. We had a blast! We got to walk down the Riverwalk a couple nights and ate at some amazing resturants, Mexican of course. We discovered this store called Five and Dime, they had the most random things, needless to say we had way too much fun playing and goofing off in that store (see pictures below). People probably thought we were crazy. We went to Sea World, it was my first time ever being at a sea world. We also went to the Alamo, which was really cool. I love history and to see that, was amazing. It was smaller than I imagined it but the grounds were beautiful, so it was worth it! The weekend went by way to fast and none of us wanted to come back to reality.

What else you say?

Well Toby and I started a new and exciting cleanse. It is called the SP Cleanse. For those of you that don't know what a cleanse is, well it it the best thing. Basically it is a way of getting rid of all the toxins that are stored in your body out of your body. The cleanse lasts 21 days, the first 10 days you eat veggies and fruits, with lots of supplements (vitmains), as well as a couple shakes a day. Then on day 11 you can incorporate fish and chicken. Well we are now on day 16, and holding strong. The first couple days were rough! (That is an understatement!) I craved everything, mostly Mcdonalds hamburgers. Why, who knows, I don't even eat those, ever. Toby craved anything that was not fruits and veggies!
So far Toby has lost about 11 lbs and I have lost 9. I have lost about 10 inches and Toby about 9 inches. We feel so healthy! I love that we have done this, it has helped us develop healthier habits and help our bodies to function like they are meant to function. I recommend this to everyone! Sunday is our last day, I can't believe we are almost done! I thought I would never make it past the first 3 days.
Well friends and family that is the update! Here are some photos; (Sorry photos are at the top, I had troubles loading them) :)
