Toby and I and a friend of ours from Boise, Melanie, who is here on an RN travel assignment, all went to the Hurricane Harbor on saturday. We had such an awesome time! I highly recommend going if you have ever considered it, but not on a saturday. It was so packed, I think we went on a total of 4 or 5 rides and we were there from 10:30am to 6pm. We spent more time outside the water than in the water. But the rides we went on were awesome. The Tornando was the coolest ride! We waited like an hour for a tube, which was the coolest looking tube. The tube was square with 4 holes on the outside for your but to sit and one small hole in the middle (I don't know what that hole was for). But it was worth every second we spent on that ride. Which was only like 30 seconds. Your shot out of this tube and it flys you way high up the sides of this trumpet looking thing and get nailed with water, then you fall into this pool of water. I think I lost my stomach on that ride! Also one of my other favorites was the Black hole, I don't know if that is the name but that is what I named it. You and one other person on a tube, going down this pitch black hole getting thrown around, further down the hole there comes some lights. Which was fun! Then your shot out of the hole into water. FUN!! Our favorite was the Lazy River and the Wave pool. Who knew you could have so much fun in a foot of water. This is all thanks to my creative husband, who is an 8 year old trapped in a 27 year old body! I would have pictures of all the glorious fun but someone made us late picking up Melanie, and no Ryan it was not me this time, Toby would not get out of bed! The pictures I do have are from the website. So you can get a visual picture of our mad fun we had! Although these do not do them justice!
This is a picture of the blake hole, I am sorry it is very blurry.
Here is the lazy river, where most of the excitement went on,
(another blurry picture from the website).
